Please review the information on this page carefully. You cannot be approved to work unless you satisfy all requirements prior to May 25, 2018.

Step 1: Submit a request to be considered for employment in the upcoming summer’s ESY program via the Extended School Year Intake website. This applies to all new applicants, returning and existing staff.

Step 2:  Submit Act 168 Background Check paperwork to Michele Huntsman (download, print and complete package from list of files below).

Step 3:  Gather the needed documentation for consideration based on the following chart.

New Employee – not currently employed by TIU and did not work in the immediate prior year’s ESY program for TIU
Print New Employee Checklist.
Returning Employee – worked in the ESY program for TIU in the immediate prior summer and submitted valid clearances prior to 12/31/2015.

Existing TIU Employee – currently working for TIU as a full time, regular part time, or substitute in this school year.

Step 4:  New Employees – schedule appointment to submit all completed paperwork and to complete I-9 – contact Jen Heister, jheister@tiu11.org, or 814-542-2501 x135 or 717-899-7143 x135

All documents in the table can be downloaded from the list at the bottom of the page. Clearances can be obtained by following the links in the table. If you have not completed Mandated Reporter Training, follow the link, complete the training (approx. 3 hours), print the certificate of completion to submit.
